Round 2-11: single crochet in the back loop only of each stitch around. Make sure your work is not twisted and continue crocheting in a round (not slip stitching to join each round) and working another 9 rounds OR as many rounds to obtain desired width of head band. Measurements using a size H hook: Hair Headband = 5 single crochet rounds = 1.5 inches wide = 4 mm Winter Ear Warmer = 10 single crochet rounds = 3 inches wide = 7.5 mm Cowl Neck Warmer = 15 single crochet rounds = 4.5 inches wide = 11.5 mm Fasten off, keeping an 8″ tail. Finishing Where the tails are, bunch headband so two peaks form like an “M”. Wrap both tails around the bunched headband area and tie off in the back.
